Mindi Bartee

Mrs. Bartee began her career in Telecommunications at the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office in 2007. In 2008 she graduated the Gus George Law Enforcement Academy (GGLEA) as a licensed Texas Peace Officer. Soon after graduating she began to pursue training in Telecommunications even further. After training other Telecommunicators in police radio dispatch she began to teach Telecommunications courses at Gus George Law Enforcement Academy. Mrs. Bartee also went on to become a certified Sexual Assault and Family Violence for TCP instructor, NCIC/TCIC Associate Trainer, and TLETS instructor.

When Telecommunicators became licensed through the state of Texas she began to co-teach the 1013 Licensing course at GGLEA.  Mrs. Bartee was brought in to the agencies Call Taking Training Program as the call taking trainer in 2014, to restructure it to meet the needs of the new state requirement.

Recognizing the importance that call taking training played in the foundation of each Telecommunicator, she became one of the two call taking trainers in Fort Bend County Emergency Communications. In 2015 Mrs. Bartee was promoted to Training Coordinator of Emergency Communications where she managed the training team as well as the quality assurance program for Emergency Communications. Mrs. Bartee left Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office in May of 2018 to become Greater Harris County 9-1-1 Emergency Network Training Coordinator. She still makes sure to maintain her Intermediate Peace Officer and Advanced Telecommunicator License through TCOLE.
