Deputy Carson R. McMath

Deputy Carson R. McMath began serving with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office in 2013. While assigned to the Patrol Bureau, he served as a Field Training Officer for several years before becoming a full-time instructor in the Behavioral Health Training Unit in 2019. Deputy McMath now serves as the Lead Instructor in the Unit. Along with his partner, he is responsible for training the Detention Officers, Deputies, Communication Officers, and Supervisors of the HCSO in topics related to crisis intervention and behavioral health including the 40-hour Crisis Intervention Training class.
